About the project:

The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) announced the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) Antyodaya Diwas, on 25th September 2014. Empower Pragati signed MoU with MSRLM (Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission) on 13th Feb, 2018 so as to provide skill education to 630 rural youth, who will be trained and placed in jobs with regular wages within Mar 2018-Apr 2019. The target groups for skilling are candidates in the age group 18 – 35 years from rural poor households. Districts to be covered are Solapur, Raigard and Ahmednagar.
