About the project:

The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) announced the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDUGKY) Antyodaya Diwas, on 25th September, 2014. Empower Pragati signed MoU with UPSDM (Uttar Pradesh State Development Mission) on 27th Feb, 2018 so as to provide skill education to 1575 rural youth, who will be trained and placed in jobs with regular wages within May 2018 – April 2021. The target groups for skilling are candidates in the age group 18 – 35 years from rural poor households. Districts to be covered are Bareilly, Allahabad and Varanasi.
