The formal sector is characterized by enormous employment opportunities for the trained youth in the Banking & Financial Services sector, IT enabled services and Business Process Outsourced services sector, Retail sector and Supply Chain & Logistics in addition to the other segments.
The needs of this sector are characterized by the requirement for trained and competent youth with a very high level of self-motivation, good communication skills, basic awareness of IT as applied in a business environment, good work ethic and discipline and an ability to work in teams towards achieving the stated business objectives.
Empower Pragati engages with the youth from the target segment and invests in them through a 60 day program skills and competencies in:
- Life skills
- Fundamentals of computer working and IT
- Effective communication in English and vernacular language.
In addition to sector specific competency and skills building in:
- Retail selling
- Supply chain management and transportation logistics
- IT enabled services both voice and data processing/entry
- Hospitality and food industry
- Debt recovery & collection agents ( a 100 hour Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, a ReserveBank of India accredited and certified program).
