Programme Objectives: National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) is the rebranded version of the erstwhile Swarna Jayanti Shahri Rozgar Yojana under the Ministry of Housing Urban and Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA). The central govt. scheme was implemented by the State Urban Livelihood Mission (SULM) targeting urban BPL (Below poverty line) youth aged between 18-35 years in multiple sectors by providing them free of cost non-residential training of 2-3 months.

Empower Pragati Outcomes : Over the past years, Empower has joined hands with the state govt. of Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat to train 5000 youth in sectors such as Beauty Wellness, Apparel, Retail, IT-ITeS and provided them wage or self employment opportunities.

We have worked with Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Government. In district Solan and Shimla in HP and Narmada and Ahmadabad in Gujarat. The sector Empower has trained candidates is Beauty and Wellness and Job roles were Assistant Beautician.
