Empower Pragati was one amongst the first set of companies to become funded partners of NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) in 2010. Our objective is to impact the lives of underprivileged youth by providing them skill, employment and livelihood. In the last 10 years since our inception, we have skill trained over 4 lac youth in both formal and informal sectors. We are India’s leading ‘Vocational and Skill Training Provider’.

Along with implementing large scale government projects like PMKVY, DDU-GKY, NSQF etc., we also help corporates execute their CSR initiatives. We have taken up CSR projects for companies like Aircel, Pernod Ricard, Interglobe Technologies, Castrol etc.

We work with vulnerable youth, women, juvenile delinquents, specially-abled, school/college drop-outs in both rural and urban India. We believe scale with sustainability is important to make any visible impact on the lives of over a million uneducated/unemployed youth who enter the workforce each year.

We currently operate in all regions of the country. We have 28 PMKKs operational across 6 states, DDU-GKY projects in 5 states and NSQF projects in 11 states.

We are passionate about improving all aspects of the vocational skill delivery ecosystem. The most critical being quality of trainers along with mentoring and counseling provided to the youth at every stage of the training delivery cycle. One of our initiatives, the PGCVT program, was launched long before the Trainer Certification by SSCs became mandatory for projects like PMKVY.

We started our first skill program for ‘Domestic Workers’ in Ahmedabad and believe that a lot needs to be done in terms of professionalizing this sector and creating aspiration for this very critical work. With that end in mind we also co-founded the Domestic Workers Sector Skill Council.

Abhudaya, a unique mentoring initiative for students was launched way back in 2014 . In 2019 we were invited to the British Council funded i-work Project and launched SAARTHI a mentoring program with assistance from SW College, Ireland.

We implement skill training programs across a wide variety of sectors and job roles that are as per SSC mandated QP-NOS norms.

We also design and customize courses as per the requirement of unique participants like 2 wheeler mechanics (CASTROL CSR Project) and Customer Relationship Executives (AIRCEL CSR Project).

Our in-house team has the capability and expertise to understand the learning needs of every target segment and design courses accordingly. We have been developing course content and trainer manuals in-house from inception.
