Rajiv Kumar

Former Vice Chairman at NITI Aayog

Rajiv Kumar (born 6 July 1951) is an Indian economist who had served as the second vice-chairman of the NITI Aayog. He also serves as the chancellor of the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune. His earlier stint in government was initially with the Ministry of Industry and subsequently in the Ministry of Finance, as economic advisor during the reform years of 1991-1994. He has wide experience of having worked in government, academia, industry associations, as well as in international financial institutions. He also served as an independent director on the central boards of the Reserve Bank of India and the State Bank of India. Kumar is the writer of several books on India’s economy and national security. He is an economic columnist for major Indian publications and is a speaker on the Indian political economy.

Dilip Chenoy

He has held various leadership roles, including Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Director General of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), and Deputy Director General of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Dilip is also Chairman of Bharat Web3 Association (BWA) and an advisor to startups. He holds a Honours Degree in Chemistry, an MBA, and a certificate in Negotiation and Mediation, and is a fellow of the World Academy of Productivity Science (WAPS).

Mohammed Saqib

Mohammed Saqib is a professional economist with expertise in International Trade, FDI, Regional Cooperation, MSME, and Environment. He has worked as a researcher at renowned think tanks in India, including the Institute of Economic Growth, the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), and Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies. Saqib has also worked as a consultant to various government and international organizations, such as The World Bank, UNDP, UNCTAD, EU, ADB, Invest Abu Dhabi, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Environment and Forest, Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Govt. of India, and SIDBI. He is the Founder and Secretary General of India China Economic & Cultural Council, a think tank and economic and cultural organization between India and China. Saqib is also the founder and CEO of the Bureau of Research on Industry & Economic Fundamentals (BRIEF), a consulting company that undertakes research and surveys on economic and social issues and regional cooperation for the government of India, international agencies, and the private sector. Currently Saqib teaches as a guest faculty at prominent management institutes.
