Bihar Skill Development Mission planned to launch a major project to skill youth. In this project the Govt. of Bihar provides the youth with the opportunities to enhance their employ-ability and self employ-ability by developing various competencies within them. Empower Pragati started this project in July 2017 and have three centres namely in Bihar – Lakhisarai, Patna and Bhagalpur.

This program does not have a particular sector. The courses that are taught in BSDM schemes are called Kaushal Yuva Program (KYP). The course offer soft skills, all communication program and I.T. skills. The duration of the courses is 3 month.

Empower Pragati is currently providing training to 180 students through this skill program.
